Introduction

Pilot's Booking functionality enables users to search for and book hotels directly within the app, providing distinct benefits for group users.

This case study will explore strategies to unlock revenue-generating opportunities within the highly competitive online travel agency(OTA) market to find sustainable win-win strategy that not only drives business growth but also enhances the overall user experience.

Objective

Why did we started this?

The business model initially adopted for this service was based on annual memberships. Upon surveying existing users, it was evident that there was minimal interest in annual membership enrollment. We aimed to identify opportunities within the app to deliver value to users and generate revenue beyond annual memberships.

Our objective was to find opportunity spaces within our app that could deliver value to users beyond yearly memberships and generate revenue for our app.

My role

Designing new feature from 0-1

From the product strategy to dev hand off, I was responsible for managing the project as a team lead.
